Oh for shit's sake
I hate it when some member of the media asks Hillary if she'll ever run (for POTUS) again. She has to say no, even if she doesn't mean it -- and I HATE seeing her say no to it!

God damn you, media. God damn you.

I hate that too.

However, reading this article made me feel better about it. I wouldn't be mad if she never runs again, but it would be a disappointment.

I would never begrudge her years of peace and relaxation with the people she loves if that's what she wants, and she's done great things for our country. It's not like she's not allowed to ride off into the sunset already because she hasn't lived up to her potential. However, she's our best and quite possibly our only shot at having a female president any time soon.

I know she says she won't run, but I'm not sure what to believe because you're right--at this point she has to say that. And why else would she keep getting the question over and over if everyone believed that she won't run again?

That article is somewhat reassuring.

I agree. I would never begrudge her years of countless efforts for this country and the world, but, yes, she is in fact our best shot at having a female president.

She's also a Clinton. She's not going to just fall off the face of the earth one day -- look at Bill, he's still doing good for the world, even though he's not in the White House anymore. Hillary will be that way too.

I saw an article the other day where she said she wouldn't run, and I seriously almost started crying over it. I get that she might not mean it, that she might not want to retire after all of this, etc. I know that no matter what she does with the rest of her life, she's already excelled beyond measure. But it still breaks my heart to consider the very real possibility of my country never having this amazing woman be our President.

In August of 2008, there was one of the the first articles about it, and I DID start crying. Now I just almost start crying.

One would think that after all the crying (and yelling, and ranting...) I did in the primaries, I would be about worn out from crying over something relating to Hillary. Obviously I'm not.
